Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I reserve my spa appointments?

We recommend at least 2-3 weeks prior to your arrival, with more advance notice during the summer months and holiday weekends. If you have a large group interested in spa treatments, we recommend scheduling appointments at least a month in advance. Our spa availability is limited, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Does The Spa at RiverStone have a sauna, steam room, or whirlpool?

We have showers located in both the women's and men’s locker rooms that are available for use before or after your spa treatments. If you plan to take a shower before your spa treatments, please arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment time. We do not currently have a sauna, steam room, or whirlpool in the spa.

Can children have spa treatments?

The Spa at RiverStone will not perform massages or body treatments on anyone under the age of 16. You must be age 11 or older to receive any facial or nail treatment at The Spa at RiverStone. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause; this is to insure the comfort/safety of the minor and liability of the service provider.

What should I wear to the spa and during spa treatments?

Opt for comfortable attire for your spa visit. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure enough changing time. Upon arrival, you'll have the option to switch into a spa robe and slippers. If you're scheduled for multiple treatments, we suggest wearing the spa robe. While it's unnecessary to change into a robe for nail treatments, ensure you bring flip flops for pedicures. During massage therapy, your therapist will guide you on undressing to your comfort level. Throughout the session, you'll remain covered with a sheet and blanket. The therapist will expose and recover only the specific area they are currently working on.

What kind of skincare products do you use?

We exclusively utilize premium skincare and cosmetics, such as Eminence Organic Skincare, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, IMAGE, Farmhouse Fresh, Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, and Dazzle Dry Nail Care. Our commitment extends to selecting products that not only deliver effective results but also adhere to environmentally friendly practices.

I’ve never had a facial before; which one is best for me?

Our experienced estheticians are able to customize any of our facials to suit your personal skincare needs. Before your treatment, you’ll go through a quick consultation to figure out what’s best for you that day. If you’re new to facials, we recommend the RiverStone Facial, which is well-known for its head-to-toe relaxation.

How long does my hair need to be in order to receive a waxing treatment?

At least 2 weeks of hair growth is ideal for you to get the best results.

What is the cancellation policy?

You must cancel your spa reservation 24 hours prior to your appointment. No-Show appointments will result in a charge of 20% of the treatment price.

Does the price include spa gratuity?

The price on the menu does not include gratuity for therapists. We automatically add a 20% gratuity to the full price of treatment(s) for your convenience.
